The American Celebration - Brainerd/Baxter, MN: Minnesota's 4th of July Capital
Fourth of July in the Brainerd Lakes Area is a week long celebration spread across the city. Find live music, arts, vendor booths, food options galore, and don't forget the fireworks!! Many of the local communities celebrate the independence celebration on different days, so that if you're visiting the Brainerd Lakes, you have more than one chance to see it all!
Lakes Jam is a annual event that unites rock and country music fans from all walks of life and brings them together in the Brainerd Lakes area!
Located in lakes country on the grounds of Brainerd International Raceway, the area boasts beautiful scenery and allows Lakes Jam to offer optimal camping and weekend fun. Founded in 2012, Lakes Jam intends to deliver a line-up from an array of excellent live performing artists every year. Each year will be different, fresh and exciting!

Brats, hot dogs, and cold drinks being sold by EAA Chapter 1610 from 10:00am-2:00pm, open house ends at 4:00pm
Come visit with talented local artists and join in on the fun by painting pottery with artists Kevin Matthews of Glaze 2 Amaze, having your caricature drawn by Greg Gray, and watch captivating demos, including a blacksmith at work. While you are being entertained by artists, music, and games provided by the Brainerd Family YMCA, please make sure to visit the food booths where you can find a pretty amazing assortment.

10:00pm - National Anthem: Peyton McConkey-Senior at Brainerd High School from the A Capella Choir
10:15pm - Fireworks – Flashing Thunder and Zambelli Fireworks – Don Adamson Field: There’s only one thing America loves more than America itself: FIREWORKS! Many cities compete for the honor of having the best 4th of July fireworks in the USA, but we think that Brainerd’s are the best! Flashing Thunder Fireworks take the art of pyrotechnics to a whole new level by using the most state of the art electronic firing equipment. Be sure to tune in to B93.3 as these fireworks will be synchronized to music!
The 33rd Annual PleasureLand RV Show & Go is a great Fourth of July tradition, offering race fans a chance to see ridiculous head-to-head drag racing action, wide-open wheel-to-wheel road racing, fireworks, a classic car show, live music and much more. On the drag strip, the second race in the three-race Muscle Car Series features more than 300 cars, some of which can run over 200mph! On the road course, the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) will be on the track Saturday and Sunday for competitive road racing. Two great racing events for the price of a single ticket!
