Swimming Pools in the Brainerd Lakes Area

Swimming is a popular activity in the Brainerd Lakes Area all year round thanks to the many pools and water parks located in Brained and the surrounding communities. The Nisswa Family Fun Center is open during the summer months and features several water slides as well as a swimming pool. For other outdoor swimming pools, check in with some local resorts.

Indoor swimming pools that are open to the public can be found right in Brainerd and Baxter. The Brainerd Family YMCA is a great place to spend a few hours with the kids. Their pool is open to the public for a day pass fee and features a water slide, zero depth entry, and two laps pools. Many of the Brainerd Area Hotels allow public use of their swimming pools for a day fee.

If you're looking for more than just a pool, visit one of the Brainerd Water Parks. Some of the features of the Brainerd water parks include dumping buckets, lazy rivers, water slides, indoor/outdoor hot tubs, and shallow play areas for small children. The waterparks charge per day for use or can be included in a hotel stay. Many of the waterparks and pools have party rooms available for children's pool parties and birthday parties.
