Book Discussion Group
7:00 pm - 2nd Thursday, every month
Discussion meetings will be held on the second Thursday of each month at 7 pm in the library's small conference room. Book Club in a Bag titles are selected each month. These events are free and open to the public.
Teen Extreme Book Club
4:00 pm - 2nd Thursday, September - May
Ages 12-18
Finally! A book club just for teens! This book club features mysteries, comedies, true-life adventure, science fiction, and even some nonfiction. Meetings will be held on the second Thursday of each month, September - May, at 4 pm in the library's large meeting room. These events are free and open to everyone aged 12 - 18.
Teen Advisory Board
4:00 pm - 1st Thursday, September - May
This Teen Advisory Board gathers to plan activities and events for the library. Anyone in grades 7-12 is welcome to attend.
Brown Bag Lunch Seminars 2008

Preschool Story Time
Tuesday at 10:15am & Monday evening at 6:30 PM, every week
The Brainerd Public Library offers two preschool story times each week. The original is held every Tuesday at 10:15 AM and another is offered every Monday evening at 6:30 PM.
Preschoolers are invited to join their friends at the childrens story time area in the Brainerd Public Library as you read stories, sing songs, do fingerplays, and have lots of fun! Each story time will have a different theme.
Admission is free and there is no pre-registration. However, parental supervision is required.
Senior Center Book Club
10:30 am - 11:30 am, 3rd Wednesday, every month
Meetings will be held on the third Wednesday of every month at the Lakes Area Senior Activity Center in Brainerd.
