Celebrate Memorial Day in the Brainerd Lakes Area! Memorial Day services and celebrations are held throughout the Brainerd Lakes Area. We invite area guests to join our Memorial Day Services as we honor our Military on this day of remembrance.

Brainerd Memorial Day ceremonies are planned for Monday, May 26, 2025
9:00am Wreath thrown in the Mississippi River at the Laurel St. Bridge in Brainerd
10:00am Parade on 3rd Ave. NE to Evergreen Cemetery which is located at 1105 3rd Ave. NE in Brainerd.
10:30am Main ceremony will be at Evergreen Cemetery with High School Band. In case of rain, the parade will be cancelled, and the ceremony will be at the Brainerd National Guard Armory which is located at 1115 Wright Street in Brainerd.
11:00am -1:00pm Memorial Day Picnic for Veterans and Families: Lunch after the ceremony will be provided by the Brainerd Elks and the Brainerd American Legion. It will be held at the Brainerd American Legion which is located at 708 Front Street in Downtown Brainerd. Donations will be accepted.
3:00pm Taps Across America at the All-Veterans Memorial which is located at 4th and Laurel Streets in between the Post Office and Historic Crow Wing County Courthouse.
3:00pm Taps Across America at Fleet Farm which is located at 14114 Dellwood Dr N, Baxter.
