Minnesota schools have been out of session due to COVID-19 since Wednesday, March 18th, with many local schools choosing to close on March 16th. The closure has been extended multiple times, with Brainerd schools implementing a school at home program starting on Monday, March 30th.

Central Lakes College COVID-19 and the Campus Community
Central Lakes College, Brainerd and Staples, in coordination with state and local health departments, is closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19, a respiratory illness caused by a novel coronavirus that was first detected in December 2019 in China and has since spread to several other countries, including the United States.
